Online, Self-Study Training
Welcome to our page for online, self-study training courses. It’s not always easy to fit in with scheduled dog training class and so we have online courses which you can work through in your own time, in your chosen location. The flexibility offered by our online courses suit many of our clients.
Here is where you will find the self-study classes that Dobercademy offers. These courses come with the complete curriculum of our trainer led courses but do not include the weekly live Zoom training or the dynamic support that we provide in our trainer led courses.
Online courses can be particularly useful for dogs that may be a little nervous, or just not confident in a class situation. By working through the exercises on your own, you can remove distractions which may have made it difficult for your dog to concentrate in group settings. What does this mean? It means your training experience can be TOTAL FUN without any pressure. Many of the exercises we cover will build confidence in your dog meaning they will be better prepared to deal with the ‘world’.

Puppy Course

You have a new puppy and your want to start life together on the right foot. We help you do that at Dobercademy with positive guidance and care. We will help you build a healthy relationship and harmonious household by teaching dog life skills. Your puppy will learn how to live in your home environment. We will help you teach your dog basic manner skills and provide mental enrichment at this early learning phase in their life. This is one of the vital stages in their life, they learn quickly and the earlier light training starts the better.
Build up understanding between you that promotes security and comfort for your puppy now and later in life. Time invested now will pay dividends in the future.
Good Dog Level 1

Where your dog can learn all the skills necessary to thrive with their human families.
Dogs don’t come knowing the key skills needed to be a Good Boy or Girl and just like young children, they need teachers to show them the way. Like any parent, showing your dog the way is the key to your dog graduating from the Good Dog level 1 class. In this class we have squished lessons into short 5 minute daily sessions Monday – Friday. Commit to just 5 minutes a day and marvel at the results.
Loose Lead Dog Walking

Loose lead walking is one of the most important behavioural exercises we can teach our dogs but also one of the most difficult.
Common issues we will help you tackle:
